KARACHI - The MQM staged a protest demonstration outside the Press Club here Sunday against what it claimed the disappearance of its workers.
MQM Coordination Committee member Amir Khan said if the missing workers are involved in crimes, they must be produced before the courts. He said that his party has been using all the platforms to voice its concerns over the alleged disappearance of the workers and their safe recovery.
MQM deputy convener Engineer Nasir Jamal said it has been witnessed that Law enforcement agencies are found violating the constitution by raiding and arresting the innocent citizens in Karachi. He demanded the government and chief justice of Pakistan to take notice of the situation and ensure safe recovery of the party workers.
Scores of MQM workers and family members of the missing persons took part in the protest.
