Dr Mubbsher Munawar Khan has joined Hailey College of Banking and Finance (HCBF), University of the Punjab as Principal.
He has completed his PhD from Vienna University of Economics and Business, Austria. His PhD thesis is on Halal Marketing. His doctoral research was chosen by the European Journal of Marketing, as Highly Commended Award Winner of the year 2011 for ‘Emerald/EFMD Outstanding Doctoral Research Awards’.
He has attended and presented research papers at various international conferences in many countries including Austria, France, Norway, Germany, USA, Denmark, London and Malaysia. In 5th Global Islamic Marketing Conference held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia from April 22nd to 24th, 2014 his paper on Halal Endorsements was chosen as the best award winning paper from amongst 140 papers presented by participants from around 30 countries across the world.
Before joining the HCBF he had served as an Associate Professor at Institute of Business Administration and Assistant Professor at Hailey College of Commerce. He is also a Visiting Professor at Vienna University of Economies and Business, Vienna, Austria.
