Rugby camp for Asian Games in full swing

LAHORE – Pakistan rugby team camp for the Asian Games continued here in the city as well as in Islamabad. Pakistan rugby sevens team is going to take part in the Asian Games 2014 as for the first time in the history, the game of rugby is included in Asian Games. The selected rugby players from across the country are taking part in the camp. The national team will be announced soon. Punjab Rugby Association (PRA) president Rizwan Malik, who is also in-charge of the camp, said that boys were working hard. “Rugby will be first time played in the Asian Games and boys are very excited for it. This is seven side game and we were focus on young talent. Pakistan is in Saudi Arabia and Lebanon pool. Hope our team will do its best to qualify for the next round.”–Staff Reporter
