KARACHI - Adviser to Chief Minister Sindh for Information, Law and Anti-Corruption Murtaza Wahab, Secretary Information & Archives Abdul Rasheed Solangi and Director Information Zeenat Jehan have expressed deep grief and sorrow on the demise of renowned journalist and founding editor of Daily Quomi Akhbar Ilyas Shakir. In a statement on Saturday, they paid rich tributes to Ilyas Shakir's contribution for the promotion of journalism, and said he would always be remembered. They prayed Almighty Allah to rest the departed soul in eternal peace and grant strength to the bereaved family to bear this irreparable loss. Sindh Governor Imran Ismail has expressed deep grief and sorrow over the sad demise of senior journalist and founding editor of Daily Quomi Akhbar Ilyas Shakir.

In a condolence message issued here on Saturday, the Governor  paid rich tributes to the Ilyas Shakir for his services for promotion of journalism. He prayed to Almighty Allah to rest the departed soul in  eternal peace and grant strength to the bereaved family to bear this irreparable loss.
