KARACHI - Executive Director of Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC) Dr Seemi Jamali announced on Saturday that employees of the medical institute will contribute their one-day salary to the fund for Diamer-Bhasha and Mohmand dams.

According to details, the Executive Director of JPMC in a letter stated that the medical institute administration has decided to participate in the public cause of tackling water crisis and to contribute to the recently launched Diamer-Bhasha and Mohmand Dam initiated by the Honourable Supreme Court of Pakistan. As per the decision, the one day salary of BPS-01 to 15 while two days salary of officers BPS-16 to BPS-21 will be contributed for the national cause.

She further stated that all the employees have agreed for the contribution except MST. Nasreen Siddiqui, Charge Nurse. She submitted an application stating that she has already contributed Rs.60,000 for the said purpose. It Is worth to mentioning here that the employees salary will be deducted for the month of August. 2018 as the proposed.
