Asma Arbab Alamgir Advisor to ministry

ISLAMABAD (APP) - The Prime Minister has appointed Ms Asma Arbab Alamgir, MNA as Advisor to the Ministry of States and Frontier Regions, on honorary basis. Ms Asma Arbab Alamgir is the President of Women Wing, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa and Federal Coordinator of IDPs. She did graduation in Law and Economics. She belongs to a known political family of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa and has the honour of working with Benazir Bhutto Shaheed on women issues and development of the province. She has worked for the rights of women and has attended a number of international conferences in this connection and Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs). Ms Asma has chaired a number of conferences in UN on women, International Parliamentary Union issues, IRI conferences as well as European Union conferences as representative of the PPP.
