Five govt schools rehabilitated in Bajaur


PESHAWAR - To improve the educational standard in the conflict-hit areas, the Political administration has rehabilitated five state-run schools in various areas of Bajaur Agency by constructing classrooms, boundary walls, main gates and providing basic furniture and other equipments.
These schools were damaged during the wave of militancy in the Agency. According to a press release issued from the FATA Secretariat on Monday, stated that on the special directives of PA Bajaur Islam Zeb Khan, these schools were rehabilitated and fully equipped to ensure better learning environment for students.
The authorities rehabilitated Government Girls Middle School (GGMS) and Government Primary School (GPS) in Civil Colony Nawagai area.
The political authorities also rehabilitated and equipped the Government Primary School in Dabar village of Mamund Tehsil.
The school was renovated white washed and fully electrified. It has also been provided with 200 student desks including benches, chairs, ceiling fans, cupboards, water tanks and other necessary equipments.
This work was carried out by hiring local skilled labors, which provided job opportunities to them at local level.
These developments would benefit thousands of students and teachers in their respective areas.
The students and teachers appreciated the political administration efforts for improving the education standard in the agency.
