KARACHI  - The students of Greenwich University here organized a ‘Walk for a Cause’ on Monday to raise funds for the kidney patients who are in need of dialysis treatment.A spokesman of the institution said that quite a number of people including students, faculty and staff of Greenwich University as well as philanthropists and members of civil society participated in the walk.The participants of the walk were holding banners and placards with slogans to foster awareness among the masses about the sufferings of the under-privileged kidney patients. Some of the slogans read ‘Help fight against diseases‘, ‘Join hands to mitigate the sufferings of kidney patients‘.
The funds, raised through the walk will be donated to SSWAB Trust. The two-kilometre walk started from Greenwich University campus and terminated at Captain Farhan Ali Shaheed Park at main sea view road.
