Islamabad: Traders mourn the fruit market blast victims, demand security

Islamabad- Vegetable and fruit shops remained closed in Islamabad’s Farmers’ Market today to mourn the Wednesday’s blast victims.
Fruit and vegetable supply to different areas of the capital city was suspended. Protesting traders demanded that the government should ensure their security.
On the other hand, district administration has decided to take control of the market on the directives of the Interior Ministry. Security of the market will also be reviewed. Police arrested more than 30 suspects during the search operations in different areas of the city. According to the police, no important development was made during the investigation. A probe team will be formed to investigate the incident.
