American stubbornness

Though ISAF denied the Taliban claim of having shot down another Chinook helicopter and having killed another SEAL team in addition to that it killed on Saturday, claiming that all personnel were safe, the report that the USA was $15 trillion in debt, should be enough to convince it that it will run short of both 'guns and gold in its attempt to bend Afghanistan to its will. The battlefield loss of a helicopter may not have been the result of enemy action, but it will still remain expensive, and one thing which the USA does not have any longer is the luxury of affording expense. The USA should also pay attention to who exactly is holding its debt, and is thus likely to go down with it when the USAs penchant for such military adventures as the ones it is conducting in Iraq and Afghanistan continue. US supporters should have been made aware by the US downgrading that the countrys power will not serve to keep them in power forever, and thus their subservience will be of no avail. They should also be aware that they cannot expect any longer US freehandedness, amounting to profligacy, in these times of rigid economy. They should also consider that the USAs collapse would mean that several major powers would find that large parts of their foreign exchange holdings would be wiped out. Already, creditor countries are showing their displeasure at US profligacy. They would do well to restrain the USA from spending so wildly on military adventures, and its attempts to dominate the world by military means. Though it should revert to the ideals of the Founding Fathers, who themselves rebelled against colonial subjugation, simple dollars-and-cents calculations should convince the USA that having taken up the cudgels for imperialism against Muslims has not served its cause, nor has it in any way furthered the principles which inspired its Founding Fathers. It would be eminently suitable for the USA to desist both from its direct occupations of Muslim lands like Iraq and Afghanistan, its intended invasion of Iran, and its support for India and Israel, to the extent of supporting their illegal occupations of Kashmir and Palestine. Our ruling elite should be asking itself why it is still maintaining an alliance with it, though all it has brought is constant violation of national sovereignty. Pakistan seems in the best position to deliver a message that will suit American wallets: enough is enough.
