ISLAMABAD - Minority rights and protection in Pakistan provided critics always an opportunity to anti-Pakistan forces, but after Shahbaz Bhattis assassination it touched climax as western and Indian media spared no moment to declare Pakistan as an intolerant society and Islam a fanatic religion. These politically motivated claims were proven wrong when Joint Investigation Team (JIT) revealed that a family rivalry was behind Bhattis murder and not the religious victimisation. This could hardly provide momentary satisfaction to Indian and western media that they must realise, as investigators confirmed that no religious group was involved in the murder of Bhatti, but the family enmity was the main cause. This eye-opener is sufficient for lofty and biased media as it should come up seeking apology from Pakistani nation with the same letter and spirit they levelled unsubstantiated accusations against Pakistan terming it an intolerant society and Islam as a fanatical religion. This Pakistani image damaging exercise was started few seconds after the assassination of Shahbaz Bhatti on March 2,2011. Several questions were raised about the credibility and fairness of the Indian and western media, which without any concrete evidence of involvement of any Muslim religion group in the murder initiated criticism against Pakistan and Islam. Now the investigators have concluded that Shahbaz Bhatti was murdered over a property dispute between relatives. The murderers managed to escape to Dubai and Kuala Lumpur. Interpol is being approached for the arrest of culprits. Security experts believe that blaming banned religious outfits by distributing pamphlet was another pattern of hiding crime. Through this new wave of crime more instability can be brought to the country that could prove fatal to the distorted image of Pakistan. This was the similar pattern that anti-Pakistan forces were spreading terrorism in Pakistan and shifting the responsibility on Muslim religious outfits. Family rivalry and revenge was a reason at a micro level, however at macro level anti-Pakistan and Islam forces are struggling to destabilise Pakistan in the name of so-called war on terror. At the same time some so-called religious groups claimed responsibility of deadly acts of the anti-Pakistan elements, they believed Experts anticipated that this devilish great game has been causing bad name to Pakistan in the eyes of world community. Despite the fact the Islam and Pakistani are more peaceful. The minority in the country are more safe than India. A single incident in Pakistan is highlighted to hide the hundred and thousands incidents against minorities in India. Muslim scholars were of the view that USA, Israel and India through a well-organised way have been using media as a tool to distort the image of Islam and Pakistan to achieve their dirty plans. Islam provides complete protections to minorities and they believe that minorities are more safe and enjoying their rights in Pakistan compared to the India and other countries. The assassination of Shahbaz is an example to understand that how these forces operate to fulfil their vested interest by distorting the image of Pakistan and Islam. Indian and western media had been exposed. Samjotha Express tragic incident is another example of Indian medias misleading reporting, the scholars believed. A famous scholar while talking to TheNation said that he believed that these so-called religious banned outfit including Punjabi Taliban were following the agenda of the of anti Islam and anti-Pakistan forces. They have no connection with the Islam and they were just using the label of Islam, he added.
