HAFIZABAD - The district administration has approved its budget for the current financial year, showing a surplus of Rs150 million.
While presenting the budget at a meeting which was chaired by administrator district government Hafizabad Capt (r) Muhammad Asif, district officer budget and finance Riaz Ghani Basit said that the income was estimated at Rs2566.200 million against estimated expenditures of Rs2416.200 million. He told the meeting the estimated income included provincial finance commission award (Rs2219.923 million), mobility allowance (Rs100.00 million), income from district government own resources (Rs16.486 million) and carry-over (Rs65.590 million).
A major sum of Rs2228.255 million would be spend on salaries while Rs150 million would be spend on development projects.
