ISLAMABAD – A group show of photographs featuring cultural glimpses and architectural heritage of the country concluded here on Thursday at the Nomad Art Gallery.

The photographs, depicting natural beauty and culture of Pakistan, were captured by the artists and photographers including Abdul Razaq Vance, Abbrar Cheema, Kulsoom Aftab, Malik Ayaz Mehmood, Svitlana Plyhun, Azhar Hafeez and Umair Ghani. The participating artists explored the theme of `The Soul of Pakistan’ to capture the rich and vibrant culture, heritage, architecture, natural beauty and the way of living of the people in Pakistan.

The art and nature lovers of the Federal Capital got the opportunity to enjoy the creative eye amalgamated with natural and cultural aspects of this piece of land, said Nageen Hyat, Director Nomad, while talking to this agency.

Abdul Razaq produced high quality images that were recognised by numerous awards while Umair Ghani visualised women of Pakistan as strong and intelligent creatures, fighting against a judgment of odds with dignity and their pride.

The images of Abrar were fascinated by the culture of Pakistan through capturing its beauty and colours as his inspiration with titled “Real Visage of My Land - Pakistan”.

The photographs displayed by Azhar Hafeez serve the art lovers as a loving tribute to the diverse landscapes and faces of Pakistan. Svitlana Plyhun, Ukrainian photographer, displayed the series on Afghan children while Kulsoom Aftab exhibited the stunning views of creative work on Wazir Khan Mosque and blended the images with decorative tiles and terra cotta products.
