PESHAWAR - Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa chapter has lauded the role of the central leadership for moving the apex court against PML-N leadership for levelling baseless embezzlement allegations against their party chief Imran Khan in donated funds of Shuakat Khanum Memorial Hospital (SKMH).

Addressing a news conference here at Peshawar Press Club on Thursday, PTI provincial leader Zahid Hussain said that SKMH was a financially stable organization and it has rich financial resources for meeting all of its expenses. “Imran Khan is running a noble cause and he is quite innocent in all the baseless allegations leveled against him, he added.

Flanked by Khalid Usman and Muhammad Adeel Advocate, Hussain said that PML-N leaders had attempted to defame PTI and its leadership through a baseless propaganda, ultimately to achieve countrywide cheap popularity against rampant corruption, excessive power outages and US interference, adding the Supreme Court would provide them justice from the baseless allegations.

He also asked the PML-N leaders to answer the 11 questions asked by PTI chief Imran Khan regarding the alleged corruption in Motorwary project, Lahore Electric Supply and laptop scheme.

In reply to a query, he denied making any coalition with the parties in government and its allies regarding the next general elections.
