LAHORE - Additional district and sessions judge Abdul Sattar on Thursday extended interim bail of three doctors, by September 4, accused of committing criminal negligence of removing drip of an infant Fahad which caused his death.

However, the court has also issued final notices to investigation officer of the case to submit complete investigation report on the next date of hearing.

The court has extended bail of doctors including Tajamal Hussain, Tajumal and Usman.

According to FIR got registered by Muhammad Afzal, father of one and half year old deceased Fahad, in Gawalmandi Police Station under sections 302,427,148,149 of PPC against Dr Usman, Dr Sulaiman, Dr Adil, Dr Assad, Dr Hannan, Dr Usman-ul-Haq, Dr Tajaml, stated that his son died due to criminal negligence of doctors. He said that doctors who were treating his son removed the drip and let him die jus to join YDA strike.

He said that his son was critically ill and was direly in needed of medical care but doctorsturned into butchers and his son died. He said that his son could have survived if the medical staff would have cared him instead of following their heinous agenda for monetary gains.

After that police had booked Dr Usman Zafar, Dr Sulaiman, Dr Adil, Dr Assad, Dr Hannan, Dr Usman-ul-Haq and Dr Tajaml.

While on the other end counsel of the doctors submitted in the court that his clients had nothing to do with the murder of Fahad, one and half year old infant and false case was registered against them.

He said that when the incident took place doctors were in a meeting held at Services Hospital.
