PESHAWAR - Board Director, Pak-Afghan Joint Chamber of Commerce & Industry, Ziaul Haq Sarhadi, has welcomed the step of Afghan government for provision of multiple visas facility to Pakistani business community, saying that the move would prove to enhance the mutual trade relations between both the neighbouring states.
In a statement issued here by the Sarhad Chamber of Commerce & Industry (SCCI) on Thursday, Ziaul Haq Sarhadi, who is also Vice President of the SCCI, said, that the business community is demanding for a longer period to provide them a multiple visa facility to Afghanistan, meant for boosting up bilateral trade ties.
SCCI vice president urged the government to provide same visas facility to Afghan traders and businessmen as extended by Afghan government to Pakistani business community.
Sarhadi said Pakistani businessmen will have provided five years’ multiple visa who already made investment in Afghanistan, whereas those who want to work in human resource field, would have facility of one year multiple visa to Afghanistan.
SCCI vice president said that the process of membership has been initiated by PAJCCI and asked the business community of Afghanistan to get maximum membership of the joint chamber. “It would be more beneficial for both side of the business community to workout under the umbrella of PAJCCI, he concluded.
