Karachi: The MQM has withdrawn its call for shutter down strike in Karachi on assurance from Director General Rangers that inquiry into the killing of their worker Muhammad Hashim will be conducted.

The MQM said that the Rabita committee has withdrawn the call for the  strike after an assurance from the DG Rangers . MQM chief Altaf Hussain also endorsed the Rabita Committee’s decision to call off the strike call.

The MQM earlier announced to observe the strike against the alleged extra judicial killing of its worker Hashim.
