Islamabad - Pir Muhammad Naqib-ur-Rehman, custodian of Eidgah Sharif, while welcoming the Ambassador of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in Pakistan Abdullah Marzouk Al-Zahrani has lauded his help and cooperation extended to the people of Pakistan during his previous tenure as a deputy head of the mission.

He said being the land of two holy cities Makkah and Medina, Saudi Arabia is a sacred for people of Pakistan and they have special affinity and attachment with the Kingdom. He hoped that the relations between the two brotherly Islamic states would grow in days to come.

Pir Naqib said, “We are fully aware of the fact that Saudi Arabia is the country which has always stood by Pakistan whenever it faced difficult situations or crises whether it is a financial crunch, political crisis, foreign aggression or natural calamities like the earthquake in 2005 and devastating floods in 2010 in Pakistan.”

He further said that it was a matter of great pride for Muslim Ummah that under the most sagacious leadership of King Salman bin Abdul Aziz Al-Saud, the Kingdom had taken giant strides as an independent, prosperous and strong Islamic state. Saudi Arabia’s stability and security is a guarantee of the stability of the international energy and economic system. The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has always played the most significant and vital role of unity of the Ummah and wellbeing of humanity,” he added.

Pir Muhammad Naqibur Rehman hoped that Saudi Arabia under the visionary and sagacious leadership of Khadim-e-Harmain-ul-Sharifain, King Salman bin Abdul Aziz Al-Saud will continue to play a key role for the unity, harmony and solidarity of the Muslim Ummah and rest of the world.

He also hoped and prayed that during Abdullah Marzoq Al-Zuhrani’s tenure the existing friendly relations between Saudi Arabia and Pakistan will touch new heights.
