Islamabad - Islamabad police has arrested four persons including two motorcycle thieves and an Afghan national and recovered two bikes and wine from them, a police spokesman said. According to details, Khanna police nabbed an Afghan Khayal Gul during patrolling for illegally residing in the country while a bootlegger Akhtar Jameel was held for having wine by Golra police.

Meanwhile, ASI Qamar Ejaz from Sabzi Mandi police station apprehended two motorbike thieves Khair and Hassan and recovered two motorcycles from them. SSP Islamabad Sajid Kiyani while reviewing this performance has directed all police officials to ensure strict patrolling in their respective areas.

Meanwhile Rawalpindi police has arrested 21 outlaws including four fireworks dealers and recovered 2,355 grams hashish, 65 litres wine, 19 bottles of liquor, one 30-bore pistol with three rounds and a stolen vehicle from their possession.

According to Rawalpindi police spokesman, Kallar Syedan police recovered 1,080 grams hashish. Civil Line police seized 150 grams hashish and netted Farhan while 160 grams hashish was recovered from the custody of Imran. Race Course police arrested Shafique for having 510 grams hashish.

Pirwadhai police held Numan for carrying 40 litres wine.

Naseerabad police nabbed Ahsan for having 10 litres wine. Westridge police apprehended Nawaz and recovered a stolen vehicle snatched from Nawab Town Lahore area. Other accused were sent behind the bars for having hashish, liquor and illegal weapons.

Meanwhile, Gungmandi police arrested four fireworks dealers namely Kashif, Javed, Akram and Sikandar from different areas and recovered huge quantity of fireworks items. Separate cases have been registered against the accused.
