LAHORE - PPP has condemn-ed use of force by Punjab government against students and teachers who took out a rally on Wednesday in front of Punjab Assembly to register protest against formation of BoGs in public sector educational institutions. At a meeting of partys Lahore Division held here on Thursday at the official residence of Punjab Minister for Labour, Muhammad Ashraf Sohna, PPP leaders demanded of Punjab chief minister to seek apology from students and teachers for this brutal act on his governments part. Talking to media after the meeting, President PPP Lahore Division, Chaudhry Manzoor, expressed his deep concerned over the humiliation of teachers and students by the police on Wednesday, and demanded stern action against the responsible officials. Punjab Minister for Labour Punjab Ashraf Khan Sohna and partys Deputy General Secretary, Usman Saleem Malik were also present on the occasion. Chaudhry Manzoor told reporters PPP had planned public gatherings in all the major cities of the province before December 27 in connection with Mohtarma Benazir Bhuttos death anniversary. He said party caravans would also reach Larkana on the day to observe the ceremony.
