5 women go missing



QUETTA - At least five women hailing from Turkmenistan who had entered Balochistan via Iran went missing from Chagai district. According to sources, five women of Turkmenistan nationality had entered Balochistan from Pak-Iran border at Taftan and went missing near Dalbandin area of Chagai. “Turkmen women were travelling in a passenger bus which was heading for Quetta when armed men in two vehicles intercepted it. The armed men forced the five women and drove them away,” sources claimed.
However, when contacted, Balochistan Home Secretary Captain (retd) Akbar Hussain Durrani said no such incident had occurred in Chagai. Meanwhile, a man was shot dead near Dukki area of Loralai district on Sunday. According to Levies officials, armed men opened fire on Dur Muhammad and managed to flee from the scene. Resultantly, he sustained serious wounds and died immediately. Levies sources said motive behind the murder was a property dispute.  A case has been started and further investigation was under way.
