ISLAMABAD - Pakistan's Defense and Army Attaché in Iran Brigadier Waheed Mumtaz secured the first position in a shooting competition held in Tehran, this was revealed by Col Qaiser Mustafa, Deputry Director Army Sports, while talking to The Nation on Sunday.

He further said the competition was held at the Imam Ali Military Academy Tehran by the military authorities of Iran for Military Attaches of different countries and it is a matter of great pride for the entire nation that our player won the prestigious event beating some of the world's best. The champion of competition Brigadier Waheed was awarded a gold medal and a certificate, Col Qaiser concluded.
