Khosa hopes for Pakistan win in India


LAHORE - Pakistan team will win the Twenty20 and one-day series later this month in India, said Governor Punjab Sardar Latif Khan Khosa.
Speaking at the prize distribution ceremony of National T20 final in which Lahore Lions beat Faisalabad Wolves, Khosa said: “Our team is full of talent and it is performing well in international cricket and I hope it will win the series by exhibiting collective efforts and commitment to bring glory for the country.”
The Punjab governor said international cricket would soon return to Pakistan as the PCB was striving hard in this regard. “The PCB under the dynamic leadership of Zaka Ashraf is taking necessary measures to bring international cricket back to the country.” He praised the interest and discipline of a full house which watched the thrilling final with keen interest.  He said it was good to see such a big crowd witnessing the National T20 and congratulated the winning and losing teams. “Lahore Lions played good game and had luck on their side to win the title. Win or defeat go hand and hand and one team wins on a particular day and today the game of cricket won in the end as both sides played quality cricket,” he added.
The Punjab governor said exchange of sports and cultural events on regular basis will improve relations between Pakistan and India and people from both sides will also get closer.
He praised the contribution of Faysalbank for sponsoring the event and called upon the private business houses to come forward to patronage cricket which is a passion of people of Pakistan.
