LAHORE - Speakers at a convention and training workshop for intra-party elections at union council level have stressed upon the need of electing honest workers sticking to ideology of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf to fulfill the agenda of bringing a change in the country.

They vowed to strengthen the PTI, complete the agenda of Imran Khan and continue struggle for bringing a real change in the country. Over 2,000 candidates for party slots at union council level and leaders attended the workshop and convention presided over by Mian Mehmood-ur-Rasheed at PTI’s Jail Road office on Sunday.

Addressing the participants, Mehmood said the real workers were working to protect ideology, strengthen party and continue the mission of Imran Khan. He said that there was no Moonis Elahi, Bilawal Bhutto or Hamza Shahbaz and workers were free to choose party leadership of own choice. He said that those workers who supported the PTI during hard times would not be ignored.

Ijaz Ch said the PTI had emerged as the biggest political party in the country due to its ideology and giving due importance to political workers.

Zaheer Abbas Khokhar said that intra party elections would strengthen the PTI as workers were provided opportunity to elect leadership of their choice.

Dr Murad Ras, Sh Imtiaz, Dr Atif-ud-Din, Yasir Gilani and Asghar Gujjar also addressed the convention.
