Law Minister Farogh Naseem has urged the international community to play its role for implementation of Indus Water Treaty signed between Pakistan and India in 1960.
He was addressing an International Conference: "Water: Future War and Peace in Subcontinent" in Islamabad on Monday.
The Law Minister said India is violating terms of the treaty by constructing hydro power projects on the western rivers.
Farogh Naseem said water management is important to address the issue of water shortage in the country.
