PM should take u-turn to provide relief to people: Baloch

Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Secretary General Liaqat Baloch has said that the irresponsible attitude of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government on an economic front would render the country bankrupt and now, Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan should take a u-turn for providing relief to the people.

He further said that the government has created no plan for the future as the development works stand shelved and business wheels stand jammed. “Growing unemployment, inflation and hike in utility bills has become intolerable for the common man,” he added.

Baloch regretted that people were being rendered jobless and homeless in the name of elimination of encroachments all over the country. “Bureaucracy is befooling government and fortifying its domination,” he remarked, adding that the current state of affairs was very harmful for the democratic system in the country.

Baloch also said that only delivering a speech on Kashmir issue and giving a statement against US’ ‘do more’ demands does not serve the purpose. “Parliament’s role should be restored,” he urged, adding that fluctuation in the price of dollar and persistent uncertainty in stock exchange market was due to the flawed economic policy of the government.
