Federal Minister of Interior Rehman Malik has said Taliban chief Hakeemullah Mehsud has reached to his fate and there were also reports about another Taliban leader Qari Hussain. "I have credible information that he's dead but I don't have any confirmation," Interior Minister Rehman Malik told reporters, as speculation swirled over the Taliban leader's fate. Talking to media after hearing of a Peshawar court, Malik denied Taliban claims about talks with the government, No talks with Taliban until they surrender arms, the minister said. Earlier, the interior minister appeared before the court of Malik Fakhr-uz-Zaman for hearing of the charges about illegally quitting the country. The court in the proceedings extended his interim bail.
