Uniform education on the cards in KPK

KARAK - Director Elementary and Secondary Education Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Rafique Khattak has informed that uniform education system would be launched from the upcoming educational session in the province and for the purpose 23000 teachers were being trained.
He was addressing the annual prizes distribution ceremony as a chief guest at the Government High School Sarki Lawagher on Sunday.
He said that not only the syllabus would be uniform but the language would also be unform. He added that the education sector would not be privatized and claimed that the teachers should not get panicked as there was no truth in the rumours of the privatization of education.
The director added that the government was going to revolutionize the education sector and the teachers should become the frontrunners of the reforms intended by the government to introduce in education.
Khattak said that the provincial government in a short span of time ghd made upgradation of 57000 teachers to higher scales and made regular promotion of 60,000 teachers. The director further informed that 8000 teachers recruitment through National Testing System (NTS) in a very transparent way was being made to over the shortage of teachers in the schools.
Later, the director education launched the green and clean Khyber Pakhtunkhwa campaign and led an awareness walk along with the teachers and students.
