PR LAHORE – The death of famous cricket organiser M Saeed Butt, who died at the age of 82 in Lahore, was widely condoled by current and former cricket heads. Saeed Butt was crowned with ICC Millennium Award back in 2000. The deceased served in Public Relations and management department for PCB and BCCP for decades. He was well respected in the media and among his peers due to his tireless efforts for the promotion of cricket. He was the focal person in organisation of 1987 World Cup. Pakistan Cricket Commentator Club (CCCP) president M Idrees, secretary Raja Asad Ali Khan and others have expressed their grief. Former PCB chief Ijaz Butt said he found late Saeed Butt as a sincere person and said his passion to serve cricket was exemplary. Ex-PCB chairman Khalid Mehmood said it’s an irreplaceable loss.
