ISLAMABAD - The local administration has issued warning notices to all the residents, including foreigners and locals, of the federal capital who have refused to provide their particulars during a security household survey jointly conducted by NADRA and capital police.

The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) and police had conducted a household survey in Islamabad to collect particulars of all those residing in the capital.

A spokesman of the Interior Ministry said that the purpose of the survey was to provide complete security to the residents but some foreigners and local had refused to disclose their particulars and the other individuals residing with them.

Some two years backs, the interior minister had allowed the conduct of this survey keeping in view the increasing theft and burglary incidents in Islamabad.

The ministry said: "Under the law, the residents, including foreigners and locals, are bound to provide compete details of all those residing in the building under their possession otherwise the entries and exit points of the building would be sealed."

Overall, the residents cooperated with the police and NADRA in this exercise, the ministry added.
