BRUSSELS (AFP) - The economy of the 15 eurozone countries grew 0.7pc in the first three months of 2008, the EU's Eurostat data agency said, trimming back a previous estimate of 0.8pc. Compared to the first quarter of 2007, the shared currency bloc's economy grew 2.1pc, Eurostat said in a third estimate, revising the figure down from 2.2pc in the last calculation. Despite the numerous headwinds facing the eurozone economy at the start of the year, the revised figures showed it managed to remain resilient.
