Jamaat-e-Islami Secretary General, Liaquat Baloch, has termed the Punjab Assembly resolution a drone attack on freedom of media. In a statement issued by the party, Baloch flayed the leadership of PML-N and PPP for showing sympathy with the journalists after supporting the move in the assembly. He praised the media for its role during the dictatorial regime to free the judiciary and asked the government of Punjab to apologize.
