The protesting newsmen are wearing black arm bands and demanded early withdrawal of the resolution. Members of Khyber Union of Journalists in Peshawar and Peshawar Press Club are also staging a protest demonstration. In Quetta, a black flag is hoisted atop the Press Club, while Karachi would also witness a protest in evening against what the journalists say a bid to gag media.
