He said that elimination of corruption from the SWM was his priority, adding that the Department had prepared a plan regarding monsoon and in this regard it would introduce three rain alert systems, green from 10 millimetres rain to 25 mm, yellow 25 mm to 50 mm and red alert in case of more than 50 mm rains. He said that more than one thousand well-equipped officials of the SWM would remain ready to help WASA in case of any emergency. He said that about 62 mobile camps had been established which would work round-the-clock in case of red alert situation. Wasim further said that 257 drums and 129 containers had been placed beside the drains, and appealed to the citizens to dump the waste in these drums and containers instead of throwing into drains or sewage.
