WAZIRABAD - A number of representatives of the Brokers and Growers Association of Grain Market Wazirabad have supported the plan of shifting of Grain Market from interior city to Sialkot Road and condemned the conspiracies against the project. Mohammad Rafiq Bhutta, a Real Estate Manager, has allocated four acres of land for the proposed Grain Market on Sialkot Road with all modern facilities including wide entrance and exit, water filtration plant, stand by power plant and sewerage system. The easy movement of vehicles will enhance the business activities as well as save the time of growers approaching the Grain Market who have to wait in long queues while open area of 75,339 sq ft and huge shopping market of 104 shops would supplement the trading activities. Growers Association President Zia Ullah Ghumman has said that the anti-project element conspiring against the plan of relocation of Grain Market to Sialkot Road which is condemnable. We will foil all attempt of sabotaging the plan of new Grain Market, he said, adding that this project could have been materialized very early. New Grain Market is a good plan which will facilitate the growers and is in easy approach for all, he added. Meanwhile, former Brokers Association president Ch Mohammad Riaz stated that all link roads leading to the present grain Market had become Educational Centres. Rush of students and grain laden-trollys create havoc the situation.The people living in the adjacent areas including Moti Bazaar, Main Bazaar and other residential areas would heave a sigh relief due to the relocation of the grain Market.
