TheNation Monitoring Former Sindh chief minister and PML-N central leader Syed Ghaus Ali Shah has said the situation in Karachi has set alarm bells ringing. Talking to Nawa-i-Waqt on Saturday, he backed an indiscriminate operation in the city to establish the governments writ in the commercial hub of the country. He stressed the need for unity among all the political forces against deteriorated law and order, saying all the political parties should sit together to restore peace in Karachi. Though the MQM is representing Karachi, the situation was not much different when the party was in power corridor, he added. The involvement of external elements, particularly India, cant be ruled out as these forces want to destabilise Pakistan, he averred.
