SWABI  - The Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS) on Tuesday defused two bombs planted to blow up a renowned religious institution. The incident was happened a day after the two BDS members were killed when they tried to defuse a bomb planted near the public sector schools in Jamal Abad. According to local people, they noticed a bomb was planted near the religious seminary Shahmansoor and informed the BDS for defusing the bomb.

The BDS immediately responded to the call and reached the site where it successfully defused the explosive device. The bomb was planted near the outside wall of the seminary. During search, the BDS found another bomb in the premises of the seminary, which was also defused by its members   

In another incident of violence, a police post at the Bamkhel area was attacked by unknown militants through hand grenades at night time. In the last five months, it was the second time that the same police post was attacked and luckily the police survived during both occasions.
