SHEIKHUPURA/SIALKOT/AHMEDPUR EAST-A robber was shot dead and another sustained critical injuries in an armed clash with the residents of Rachna Town while three persons including two girls were killed in separate incidents.

According to police, three outlaws set-up a picket on College Road and were looting the commuters. On information, a group of citizens rushed to the spot and opened fire on the criminals killing one of them on the spot and another sustained critical injuries. While one of their accomplices managed to escape the scene. The Ferozwala Police are investigating. Girl’s body found; another murdered.

The dead body of a missing minor girl was found from local fields near village Pakki Kotli while another girl was shot dead by her brother for honour.

Reportedly, local labourer Shabir Ahmed’s minor daughter Rukhsar Bano (7 years old) went missing just two days before Eid when she went to buy some toffees from a local shop near her house.

According to the Sialkot police, some unknown accused kidnapped her and killed her after raping her brutally. Later, the accused threw her dead body in local fields to conceal their sin and fled away. Some local people saw the dead body there and they informed the police. Police handed over the dead body of the girl for burial to her grieved family after her autopsy.

Police officials confirmed that some unknown accused first kidnapped her and later killed her after her brutal rape. She was laid to rest in her native graveyard in the presence of a large number of the people from all walks of life.

Likewise, an anguished youth shot dead his sister Naveera Bibi (27) besides injuring seriously his second sister Haroona Bibi (24) over suspicion of their relations with some local youth in village Sukhaniyaan-Uggoki.

Reportedly, both the girls were sitting in their room when Muneer opened fire on them, killing Naveera Bibi on the spot and injuring seriously Haroona. She was admitted to a local hospital in critical condition. Accused fled away.

In Ahmedpur East, A PML-N councillor was shot dead by rivals in Amir Alam Colony. According to police, Muhammad Arshad Ghauri, a young PML-N Councillor of ward/11, was shot dead by rivals at the door of his house. The police said that the accused called him outside of his house and shot him dead. On information, City Police Station SHO Mehar Abdul Jabbar rushed to the spot and shifted the body to THQ Hospital for autopsy. The Police registered a case and started investigation.
