The Sharif family on Tuesday formally lodged a complaint with the London police against the attempts by ‘Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) activists’ to break into Hasan Nawaz’s house two days ago.

According to a private news channel, video footage and photographic evidence of vandalism and property damage has been submitted. Several individuals involved in acts of violence could be seen in the videos and photographs submitted.

The complaint said that the Sharif family and Begum Kulsoom are under threat, as people have attempted to enter her hospital room without proper authority and clearance.

The footage of several protestors has been handed over to the police, who daily assemble outside the house and issue threats to children and residents. The Sharif family has demanded action from the police in this regard.

Late on Monday, PTI supporters gathered outside the Sharif family’s Avenfield apartment in London and chanted slogans against former prime minister. PTI’s Britain chapter had condemned the incident and said that there was no truth in the accusation that its workers were behind the incident.
