At least 15 persons including four women were killed in various incidents of enmity, honour and road mishaps over the past 24 hours.

As per details, in Sargodha, a youth gunned down three persons including a woman to avenge the abduction of his sister in village Hujan here on Tuesday.

The sister of Mazhar had been kidnapped some days ago due to which he was simmering with rage for avenge. On Tuesday, he along with his accomplice opened gunfire on Shahid, his mother Rabia Bibi and a close relative Faisal. Resultantly Shahid and Faisal died on the spot while Rabia Bibi succumbed to her injuries in hospital. Sources told that the killers searched out all the slain persons one by one and after satisfaction that they had died fled the scene. The police have registered FIR of the triple murder.

In Toba Tek Singh, a youth killed his sister over some domestic dispute in Chak 739/GB near Kamalia on Tuesday.

The accused namely Saeed attacked Kaki Bibi after exchange of harsh words with her and axed her on the spot. The police have started investigation into the incident.

In another incident, a woman died while her husband injured in a road accident here. The City Police said deceased Sajida Parveen along with her husband Muhammad Waqas, resident of Chak 335/GB was the way on Toba-Chichawatni Road on a motorcycle. When they reached near Chak 295/GB Barianwala, firstly a water tanker hit their bike as a result the couple fell on road later a speeding car ran over them. Resultantly, Sajida died on the spot while Waqas was rushed to DHQ hospital.

Similarly, a seven-year-old boy drowned near Chak 361/GB Nagra. The Rajana Police said that deceased child Usman was taking a bath along with his father Younis when he drowned.

Meanwhile, the body of 40-year-old man identified as Tariq Nazir, a resident of Chak 670/11GB was recovered from near Sindhillianwali. The Arrouti Police shifted the body to Pirmahal THQ Hospital for autopsy and started investigation into his killing.

In Chunian, the police recovered tortured dead bodies of two youngsters here on Tuesday.

The police said that residents of village Talwandi, tehsil Chunian spotted two dead bodies in their neighbourhood. The police after being informed reached the scene, took the bodies to hospital for post-mortem where they were identified as Azam and Iftikhar. The police said that both the bodies were carrying severe torture marks which revealed that the youths had been tortured to death and later their bodies had been dumped in the locality. However, reason behind the brutal murder could not be ascertained yet.

In Muzaffarabad, two people died and six others injured when an ambulance rammed into a wall. The police said that the accident occurred near Rashidabad area of Muzaffarabad, the capital of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) where a speeding ambulance got out of control and hit a roadside wall.

Two people died on the spot in the accident and six others sustained wounds who were rushed to hospital where according to hospital sources their condition is also serious.

In Hafizabad, two persons were killed and seven students of a private school were injured in three different incidents.

According to rescue source, a young villager Shahbaz Ahmad S/o Shoukat Ali Hashmi of Vanike Tarar was on the way to the city on bike and when he reached near Qila Ram Kour Canal Bridge, a van (LFE-2812) coming from the opposite direction, hit his bike, killing him on the spot.

A landlord Mansib Ali Sundarana was electrocuted when he attempted to switch on motor of a tube-well. He received serious shocks and died instantly.

In another incident, seven students received serious injuries when rickshaws in which they were travelling collided with each other near Kot Nakkah. Two rickshaw drivers - Irfan Ali and Ali Raza were taking seven students Affan, Ali Raza, Umar Draz, Ali Hassan, Zain and Abbas to the private school near Kot Nakkah when the rickshaws collided while attempting to overtake each other. The injured were shifted to THQ Hospital Pindi Bhattian from where three of them were referred to Allied Hospital Faisalabad.

In Sheikhupura, An addict shot dead his sister over refusal to give him money for drugs in Vandala Dayal Shah locality on Tuesday. Ijaz, an addict went to his sister house and demanded some money from her. However, when Humaira Bibi refused to oblige, he flared up and shot his sister dead. The Ferozewala Police are looking into the mater.

In another incident, a passenger was killed while four others sustained injuries, two of them seriously, when a speeding mini-bus overturned on GT Road ear Khori Stop on Tuesday. The vehicle was heading for Gujranwala from Lahore.
