LAHORE - We can make our society an exemplary with the training and reformation of individuals while the leadership crisis can be overcome and the dream of good governance achieved by judicial and correct use of our votes. These were the upshots of recommendations of a discussion by eminent intellectuals, poets, social workers, lawyers and educationists on topic What to do to overcome the present crisis organised by Kainat Welfare Foundation, Sialkot. The meeting was presided over by Sheikh Zahid Hameed, Chairman of the Foundation while Khalid Khalil, Syed Adeed, Khawaja Ijaz, Asif Bhalli advocate, Akhtar Abbas, Mehwish Javed, Uzma, Sarwat, Sobia and Minahal also participated. The discussion underlined the importance of ideology and maintained that a nation without an ideology never survives. Pakistan was created on the basis of an ideology ie two-nation theory and would live due to this ideology. It also called for promotion of tolerance, accommodation and fraternity between the people. It was suggested that the Islams universalism, human rights, ethics, morality, justice, truth and piety be promoted along with the divine worship.
