India meddling into Pakistan via Afghanistan: Basit

The Foreign Office spokesman Abdul Basit said Wednesday Pakistan has formally asked Afghan government to train their National Army, adding, India is meddling into affairs of Pakistan through Afghanistan, a private TV reported. He vowed to take up this issue with Afghan President Hamid Karzai during his official visit to Pakistan commencing today. In an interview with a private TV, Abdul Basit said, There are differences prevailing between Pakistan and Afghanistan however both countries are gradually improving their ties. Pakistan has extended Afghan government the offer to train their National Army in order to improve its efficiency, he informed. India is exploiting Afghan land to put into practice its nefarious designs against Pakistan, he told, noting that this issue will be discussed with Afghan President Hamid Karzai amid his Islamabad visit, which is scheduled from today.
