LAHORE (APP)- The Pakistan Industrial and Traders Associations Front (PIAF) Tuesday urged the Chairman FBR to early release sales tax refunds to enable exporters overcome liquidity problems. PIAF Chairman Irfan Qaiser Sheikh said an undue delay in the release of st refunds was hampering industrial productivity. He stressed bringing more sectors into the tax net as 85 percent of total revenue was being collected from 1600 companies, adding it would help increase the tax to GDP ratio from existing 8.8 to 15pc.
