PTI leader's three relatives slaughtered

LAHORE - Pakistan Tehrik-i-Insaaf (PTI) Punjab Vice-president Ijaz Ahmad Chaudhrys 51-year-old sister-in-law along with her two young sons were slaughtered under mysterious circumstances, and the bodies were found from different spots within the precincts of Sattukatla Police Station. Police on Tuesday said the victims included Rubina Ashraf, and her two sons, Ashir Hussain (24) and Taha Hussain (20). The dead body of Rubina was found from Expo Centre located in Jauhar Town while Tahas body was recovered from Abdalian Housing Society and that of Ashir from Ali Raza Bagh near Raiwind Road, after some locals spotted the bodies and informed the police immediately. Later, Ijaz Chaudhry told the police that Rubina had been living with her two sons at Ashrafia Park Ferozepur Road for the last few years. He said some days back the victims had shifted to another place about which he was unaware of. Ijaz further said after the natural death of his elder brother Arif Chaudhry in 2003, his sister-in-law, Rubina, along with her three sons had left the home and started living separately due to some differences. SP Saddar Division, Rana Mansoor-ul-Haq, said it was too early to ascertain the motive behind the triple murder, adding that an investigation was underway and police were also trying to locate the residence of the victim family. No case was registered till filing of this report. The victim woman has only survived a son, Atif Hussain, who is working in a private firm in District Rajanpur, who has been informed about the tragic incident.
