LAHORE - Two brothers were gunned down allegedly by five unknown persons over some old enmity in the limits of Barki police station on Tuesday. The victims were identified as advocate Muhammad Nasir 40, and Abdul Hameed 45. Police investigators said that deceased Nasir had a dispute with one Aas Muhammad due to his children and later Aas Muhammad in revenge of killed his two relatives in Kasur area. Police had registered a murder case against Aas Muhammad and after this he started to threat deceased Nasir to not to pursue the case. On Tuesday, victim Nasir along with his brother Abdul Hameed was on his way to Session Court for the case hearing when Aas Muhammad along with his five accomplices stopped them near Ludhar Pind main Chowk and opened indiscriminate fires on them. Resultantly, they both received severe bullet injuries and died on the spot. Police have registered a case of murder against the alleged accused Aas Muhammad and removed the bodies to city morgue for autopsy.
