QUETTA - At least seven people, including two women, were killed while 16 others wounded in two separate incidents of landmine blast and firing in different parts of Dera Bugti on Wednesday. Meanwhile, a body has been found in Pishin District. According to Levies sources, some people were travelling in a vehicle in Pir Koh area of Dera Bugti when it rolled on an anti-tank landmine which exploded with a big bang. As a result, seven people, including two women were killed and 12 others sustained injuries. Soon after the incident, Levies and other law-enforcement agencies reached the site and shifted the injured to the hospital. Five deceased were identified as Gul Sher, Humbo, Jangian, Lalia and Wazir Khan. Sources said that the condition of some of the injured was stated to be serious while the vehicle was destroyed in the blast. In another incident, unidentified people opened indiscriminate fire on a vehicle carrying employees of Oil and Gas Development Company Limited (OGDCL) in Loti area. Resultantly, four workers of the company sustained injuries. The injured were later shifted to OGDCL hospital for medical treatment. Sources said that OGDCL employees were travelling towards Sadiqabad when they were attacked. Meanwhile, another bullet-riddled body of an unidentified person was found from Khanozai area of Pishin district on Wednesday while a complete shutter down strike was observed in Makran Division against recovery of Yasir Sabirs body in Turbat. According to Levies sources, on a tip-off that a body was lying on a deserted area of Khanozai, Levies personnel rushed to the site and shifted the body to a hospital for autopsy. Levies sources said that victim was shot in the head and chest. The body was later moved to hospital morgue for identification.
