LAHORE The Punjab government on Wednesday appointed Dr Ikramul Haq as Acting Vice-Chancellor of the Government College University. The Punjab Higher Education Department, after approval of Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif and Governor Sardar Latif Khosa, has issued the notification of noted biotechnologist and Sitara-e-Imtiaz Prof Dr Ikramul Haq as the Acting VC GC University Lahore. Prof Ikarm, who is working as Government College University Dean Faculty of Science and Information Technology and Director Institute of Biotechnology, did his post doctorate from the Cornell University, New York, USA as a Fulbright Scholar.
