ISLAMABAD - Enforcement Department of Oil and Gas Regularity Authority (OGRA) penalized six LPG companies for violating Liquefied Petroleum Gas Rules. LPG companies that have been fined include Akbar Associates, POL, LUB Gas, Wyne Gas and Pak PSO. OGRA in a press statement informed that in the week ending 4th of March 2011, its Enforcement Department penalized six LPG companies for violating LPG Rules, 2001 thereby providing relief to the general public. While highlighting the monitoring role of OGRA, its official spokesman revealed that in the week ending 4th of March 2011 Enforcement Department of OGRA LPG companies that have been fined and the distributors affected are Taj Gas, Ithehad Gas Agency, Osama Gas, Sana Traders, Diamond Gas Agency, NZ Traders, Al-Riaz Enterprise, Two Star Gas Agency, Ahsan Wyne Gas and Rehman Traders. The spokesman further said that OGRA, under the dynamic leadership of its Chairman, would continue to play its regulatory role in line with the Federal Governments policy of good governance.
