LAHORE Muslim leadership instead of bowing before America should follow the teachings of Quran and Sunnah and adopt the spirit of Jihad. Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah was among those leaders who followed the teachings of Islam and became popular in the Muslim Word. Presiding over a special sitting titled 'The Qualities of Muslim Leadership in the light of Holy Prophets Teachings held at Aiwan-e-Karkunan Tehrik-e-Pakistan here on Wednesday, Justice (r) Nazeer Akhtar said the Ummah needed a trust worthy leader. Punjab Universitys Arabic Department former head Prof Dr Zahoor Ahmad Azhar was the guest speaker. Qari Abdul Ghafar, Syed Abid Hussain, Maulana Tasadaq Hussain and people from various walks of life attended. Nazaria Pakistan Trust (NPT) and Pakistan Movement Workers Trust (PMWT) jointly organised the sitting. Akhtar said political personalities should study the teachings of Holy Prophet (PBUH) so that they could guide the masses in true way. The good leadership always bowed before Allah Almighty and made plans in the better interest of masses, he added.
