It’s time to say US goodbye: DPC

MULTAN - Like other parts of the country, Yaum-e-Yakjehti Balochistan (Balochistan Solidarity Day) was observed by the activists of Difa-e-Pakistan Council (DPC) in the entire South Punjab region on Friday.
The clerics condemned American and Indian intervention in Balochistan during their juma sermons and adopted condemnation resolutions against the supporters of the US. The DPC activists brought out rallies and held demonstrations in all areas of South Punjab including Multan, Dera Ghazi Khan and Bahawalpur divisions. They shouted slogans against the US and India and burnt their flags.
The DPC held a big show in Multan as a large number of activists of its member parties like Jamaatud Dawa, Jamiat Ahle Hadith, Ahle Sunnat Waljamat, Muttahidda Shehri Mahaaz, Jamaat-e-Islami, Majlis-e-Ehrar, All Pakistan Power Looms Associations, Al-Muhammadiya Students gathered at Chowk Ghanta Ghar after juma prayers and staged a demo. Addressing the protesters, Kh Saifur Rehman Siddiqui, Rana Shamshad Salfi, Hafiz Abdul Ghaffar, Hafiz Saif Ullah Azam, Mufti Abdul Rehman Shaheen, Tariq Naeem Ullah and others demanded of the government to immediately halt all overt and covert operations in Balochistan. They stressed upon the government to form pro-Pakistan foreign and internal policies while keeping in view national interests. They said that the residents of Balochistan were true Muslims and patriot Pakistanis and allegations of treason against them were baseless. They declared that the DPC would raise voice for all legal, human and national rights of Balochs at all platforms. They claimed that America and her allies wanted to snatch precious natural resources of Balochistan and agencies like CIA, RAW and Mossad were behind entire unrest in the province. They said that the time had come to breach all ties with US and say her good bye.
